If Roomba experiences charging error five (5), check the battery and charging contacts. Make sure the yellow battery pull tab is completely removed. Look for anything that may be obstructing the battery contacts by removing the 2 (700 and 800) or 4 (500 and 600) screws on the bottom of the robot to open the battery door. Gently wipe the battery contacts with a clean dry cloth (battery color may vary). Battery contacts in the battery well. His idea was that we could let it run while we're at work so we would only have to...Does a better than expected job of keeping the floor dust free. Even letting it do-its thing once a week will fill its dirt catcher. Ya still gotta mop once in awhile but this thing eats dust bunnies for breakfast. Press GO right before you leave the house, it IS noisy. You want to watch it in action? This little guy works remarkably well. Not for corner work. But, turn it loose once every other day and it keeps everything else clean.

I'm a single ER doctor. I live alone near from my apartment in Costa Rica. My work shifts are crazy and I spent the most of the time in the hospital and with my cat. This robot is great, but I wish the vacuum were stronger. It still will not go to dock on its own. I called the service line and they told me it would take a time or two. I have used it many , many times and it does not dock.
