Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female Initially, I was so disappointed with the vacuum because it wasn't nearly picking up what my expectation was. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs (I know...it's a lot. Lol) and an expensive leopard carpet. I was tired of seeing cat hair regardless of how many times I vacuumed. I had this for a week and was really upset because there was still cat hair after I vacuumed, I thought I am going to take this thing back but hesitated because it didn't cost that much and it worked really well through the attachments. Just as I was about to pack it up, something told me to really look at it. I am so glad that I did because the vacuum was on tool settings and not vacuum. Once I changed that this machine worked like a dream. I wonder if this is what other's problem was also. I was so amazed at how this vacuum worked and EXCEEDED my expectation. AND it didn't cost as much as the multi hundred dollar competitor which was what I was going to get but settled with this.

I am a happy woman. As you see on the picture, no pet hair in sight. Yes () No (7) Report Yes () No (7) My old vacuum quit working after sweeping half of my home. When I purchased this vacuum and swept again, it picked up a significant amount of dirt, hair, carpet powder, litter.... When I was finished the container was half full (as you can see in the picture). The suction is very powerful. The pet hair tool for furniture is amazing and works wonderfully. This vacuum needs to be assembled but is very easy. It is light in weight and easy to maneuver. The only thing that I wouldn't even call a complaint is that if you go between vacuuming and using the attachments, you have you have to turn a knob I am just used to other vacuums going back and forth without any steps but not a big deal. I highly recommend this for anyone especially pet owners. For the price is 100% exceeding my expectations. I wish I would have bought this sooner! Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) I recently moved into a new apartment, and had a vacuum but it was older and not very effective.

Now, the carpets had been cleaned prior to my move-in, and it was only 2 weeks between moving in and trying out this vacuum. As you can see by the attached photo, it removed a substantial amount of dust from the carpet. It is just me living in a 800 sq ft place, and the tank is already 3-4 inches full from what it picked up... and I don't have any pets.
ray d'arcy vacuum cleanerMost of that dust likely came from furniture and boxes/items as I was moving in, but I would've never known.
karcher tst 333 vacuum cleanerI had already vacuumed once last week with the old vacuum, which apparently didn't collect squat.
vax power 6 bagless cylinder vacuum cleaner c89-p6-bSo, it seems to have great suction, yet it is surprisingly easy to maneuver around.

It's much lighter than my older vacuum, and glides along more easily on the carpet. For the money, this seems like a great deal so far and I'm very pleased. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Bought this yesterday since my old vacuum died on me. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I have 2 German Shepherds and 2 kids under 6 and this has already proven it self to me within the last 24 hours of owning it! My dogs shed so much with their long hair and after the first time vacuuming, the canister was almost all the way full with dog hair and some sandy looking gunk. It was both disgusting that was on my floor and fascinating that it picked it all up. Even the little attachment for my couch got all the hair since they sleep on them. Leather and fabric couches. It is so light. When you push it forward, it glides with ease and when you pull it back that's when you feel the suction. I love it and for $80 you cant beat it! Do not judge me by my photo lol, I was vacuumless for 3 days!!

Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Even my OCD Clean Freak (Literally) best friend was amazed by this! I've only used it once but I can assure you the people who are giving this poor reviews are either reviewing the wrong vacuum or they aren't putting it together right. I had a couple of issues at first getting the canister in, but it literally clicks into place and until you hear that click, it is not in place and the suction will not happen. You have to mess with it a couple of times but once you get it it's like riding a bike, you'll get it every time. The reason I say some people are reviewing the wrong vacuum is this: one review said you can't turn off the floor part. You switch from floor to tools and it works great! There is a large switch on the side for that and you can't miss it. Another review stated that you can't use the power paw without the extension (or with it, I'm not sure which one they were saying) which is not true. You can use the Power Paw with OR without the extension and it works great for me!

I used it to clean my furniture including my cat tree which you can imagine is full of hair. GREAT GREAT GREAT vacuum! The image included is what it sucked up in less than 1/4th of my living room. Yes () No (4) Report Yes () No (4) I have been using a Phantom vacuum that I've just felt was too heavy and didn't pick up much. I vacuum every 3 days or so, 2 of us and one hypoallergenic dog. With my old vacuum I had to clean the cannister only every 3rd use of so. I vacuumed an area rug in my living room as well as one hallway (slow vaccum since I think it picks up better) and HOLY! This was those 2 small spaces, I just vacuumed 2 days ago. Yes (0) No (0) Report Yes (0) No (0) Verified purchaser I have never been so happy to
do chores! This lightweight upright is the clean machine of my dreams. Like many others it claimed the ability to multi-surface clean (ie bare floors) and of course I couldn't wait to be disappointed when I tried it out. Not only did this vacuum eliminate my need to sweep, with a suction so good it even cleaned the corners, but I actually had to raise it off the lowest setting because it would suction to the linoleum and actually start to pull it up!

Now that is power! Of course it works amazing on carpets, though I would recommend using on a setting raised higher than you normally would. And best of all is the easy, no mess, container which lifts off with a lid and dumps via push button release on the bottom, no more shaking, tipping, sneezing or spilling. It's also kind of neat once you empty it to watch it suck down all the dust from the sides of the container when you start it up again. Again, cannot recommend this enough! Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Verified purchaser I've had this vacuum for a couple months now, and I absolutely love it! We don't have a lot of carpeting, but we have three cats. Makes the carpet feel all fluffy and new. I also use the attachments/tools for dusting, around baseboards, the couch, air vents/fans, and pretty much anywhere dirt/dust may accumulate. Love the attachments it comes with! The canister (where the vacuum holds/collects the dirt it's picked up) is very easy to to empty. The last vacuum we had was a bissel, and the way those are designed the canister is open on top.

So when you went to empty it the dirt would sometimes spill, and it would just end up getting everywhere. This vacuum empties from the bottom, and all you have to do is press a button. No dirt on your hands and no dirt spilling all over the place! I actually love vacuuming and cleaning with this thing so much I look for excuses to use it, and I really don't like letting anyone else in the house use it. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () I purchased this yesterday. I'm the kind of person who always keeps the house clean and spotless, with everything in it's place! I was shocked to see how much dust and cat hair I picked up! The vaccuum is lightweight, and you don't even have to really push it, it starts off on its own almost, making cleaning even easier. The switch to change airflow to the hose makes it so much more powerful and cleans 100× better on floor edges and cleaning the cat play tower I have was amazing! I just used it for my first time and I know that it is going to do such a deeper cleaning and I would and will be recommending it to all my friends and family!!

It also rung up for only $72.40! Anyone who has pet's or not, would benefit incredibly from owning this vaccuum and I'm confident that they will be just as impressed and thankful that they bought it! Yes () No (3) Report Yes () No (3) Verified purchaser This vacuum works wonderful, I can't believe the amount of dirt and pet hairs that it picks up in one cleaning, it makes me feel good to know that I am getting all of that dirt out of my house. The price is great for what it does, at first it does feel a little cheaply made but it does the job, my only complaint is the hose is so tight on it that when you use the attachments the vacuum falls over due to the hose not stretching out but I am hoping that it will loosen up over time. The canister is fairly easy to empty and does not have an accordion filter that is on some other vacuum's I have had that make it very hard to empty and clean, the filter on this one is made out of sponge material and you just wash it off when needed.
