I haven't even had this vacuum for a year and it's burned out already. It was used 1-2 times weekly in a household of 2, very tidy adults and 3 cats. I'm only giving it one star because there is noOption for no stars . I have owned dozens of vacuums , including other Hoovers and this is THE WORST vacuum I have ever owned... We are very active and also have pets that are heavy shedders. This vacuum has been a winner. It has strong suction and stands up to accidents well. I've vacuumed coins, pebbles and other potentially destructive items without any trouble. What a great machine! We bought this about four years ago for our daughter and it is still running like an champ cleaning up every bit of dirt and dust. Vacuum is very light and very quiet. We did have an issue where it wouldn't turn on but we hit the reset button and it came right back to life.
