It has a hepa type bag which is good for my allergies. The bags are expensive though. This really is a high performing machine. It was a little heavier than I wanted, but the price was perfect. It is light weight but we have had issues with the canister. It clearly doesn't pickup the dirt we were used to with our Dyson, but hey at least it works! light and easy to use!Suction is too strong on carpets, I can't even push it, and on a linoleum floor it sucks itself so hard to the floor it can't be moved at all.
