I would not recommend this hoover. I am on my second hoover the same as this. It takes me about 5 hours just to hoover one room because of how rubbish it is because it keeps cutting off and I have to wait about half an hour for it to come back on again. That's just after having it on for 5 minutes! I will not be getting this hoover again. Do not buy this. I am an ex-pat living in Portugal. Just seven months ago I purchased this machine in UK and took it home (Portugal). The motor has burned out with very limited use after just six months, I contacted the customer support at VAX to be told that I have invalidated the guarantee by taking the product out of UK. In these days of increased trade via the internet and bearing in mind Portugal is part of the EU I think the 500,000 or so expats in Europe should be made aware of the unfair fine print… I bought this from a supermarket for less than £50.
