I came across this store and thought of getting their opinion on what which brand to get. The owner Allan is an extremely knowledgeable person and is very passionate about his job. He took a lot of time in explaining to us which vacuum to buy and we went with his advise. Ryan came and installed the vacuum in our home and explained all the functionality to us very clearly. In all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend their products and services to anyone. About 1 year ago After researching central vac units on the internet I came across The Vacuum Store and was pleased to see they were close to home. We were replacing an old make that just wasn't working well. We spoke to Allan, the owner, who was extremely knowledgable. He helped us select a Cyclo Vac that would meet our needs and gave my husband some installation tips since we were installing it ourselves.

It is very quiet and does a great job. One dark blue Persian style carpet we have always had a haze of lint that would never seem to get clean with our old vacuum; now it is spotless and looks great. This is a company that has been in business a long time and know their product. I definitely recommend them. Over 1 year ago Central vacuum parts and upgrades and canister vacuum cleaner We have been using this business for many years - it used to be Barrhaven Vac and Sew. The service is great and consistently above and beyond. My husband does a lot of our repair work and the owner of the store happily walks him through how to do something and suggests how we can do things more easily and better. We recently bought a Sebo canister to replace an old Kenmore at our cottage at their recommendation. I did not think it was possible to love a vacuum but that thing makes the usual chore just a joy. It works brilliantly and so efficiently. That lead to replacing our old Beam central vacuum with their Nilfisk vacuum.

Again, great advice and the changeover was simple and easy thanks to their explanations and advice. Go see them for all sorts of goodies to make your central vacuum even more useful. I never leave that store without some new great attachment. Check out the great rug cleaning stuff they stock- no water needed and it works so well. Courteous, friendly and easy to work with. Superior service and so lucky they are still in Barrhaven at Riocan! Almost 3 years ago Central Vac and Hide a Hose While researching central vacs and "Hide a Hose" online I came across the vacuum store.ca. To my pleasant surprise their store is right up the street. I called and the chap that answered was very knowledgeable, in fact he had installed many Hide a Hose systems so really new his stuff. I went into the store the following day where Allan walked me through the "hide and Hose" system and offered many tips as I was installing myself. They also sold me the Cyclo Vac E715 I didn't wanna skimp on the size but Allan didn't up sell as the E715 is the right one for my home.
