This item looks very similar to a Eureka Vacuum that I love and hate. I have a variety of floors I need to keep clean. With very few carpeted areas, I have mostly Wood, and Tile floors. The Eureka works almost as good as my huge Shop Vac when I'm using the hose and attachments, but when I use it as an upright vacuum, the roller brush-head tends to hurl anything it runs across out the back side of the machine, and across the room.I'm usually barefooted in the house, and I can feel the pieces of sand, cookie crumbs, etc, actually flying out of the bottom of the machine, and blasting across the tops of my feet, and across my ankles, as the machine hurls those little bits across the room. I can clean one area, then move across the room and clean another, then look back to see all the stuff that was once in front of me, now behind me in the area I had previously cleaned.I actually have resorted to using the hose, and hand tools to clean the floors now, because even though it's a lot more work, and I spend too much time bent over working with a tiny little hand tool, I can pick up everything in one pass, rather than hurling sand, cornflakes, and bits of whatever across the room into previously cleaned areas.
