It is quiet which I really like. I wish the cord had a suck in hiding place but it's ok. It cleans carpet and vinyl flooring without an adjustment. The see thru plastic dirt container is easy to remove and empty. I like the hepa filters. My biggest complaint and what kept me from giving 5 stars is that it is heavy and hard for me to maneuver.

I am an older lady and have weak arms and wrists so if you fit this description you might want to keep looking for a lighter easier to maneuver model. Shark is a good brand. I have had several Shark products. I got it on sale at a good price and went ahead and got the 2 year extended warranty which is a good deal from Wal-Mart in my opinion. My last Hoover lasted 10 years and I hope this one will last too. I have to let my husband do the floors since it is so heavy. He says it is not heavy for him so it works out in the end for us..
