It doesn't do the one thing a vacuum should do, which is vacuum the house. I purchased my dyson DC 39 in May of 2015. I found it very easy to assemble and couldn't wait to use it. This review actually applies to the Dyson DC39 multi-floor canister, but appears to be a problem with other Dyson models. A very expensive vacuum that does not work consistently. The power head is suction driven not power driven and will bog down on heavier carpeting. When I first used it I thought this was a CHEAP PLASTIC thing - I WAS WRONG !!!! It is just wonderful with super STRONG construction and especially SUPER STRONG SUCTION POWER !!!!
