I took 2 stars off because this machine was obviously a return. I was desperate for a vacuum or would have sent back. I worried it had been used! I had bedbugs at one point and was terrified of a return. However, it didn't appear actually used, parts were intact, and I used it. It's a wonderful vacuum, pretty quiet, has great pick up and suction and great tools.

It's a fantastic buy for the price, and I'm picky about vacuums. I bought this vacuum because I know it works well. I use an older model of this same vacuum at my church and it picks up excellently. So when looking for a vacuum to use at home I found this model which also had some good upgrades like the plug that recoils and the attachments that stay in place. It is amazing to me that this machine is inexpensively priced because there are so many others out there that are much higher in price and I can't see how this vacuum can be beat for performance.If you want a vacuum cleaner with great suction (be careful, it will suck up socks and pens) and is a bargain this is the one to purchase. Has everything I need; excellent suction, easy to handle; A bright red vacuum that works like the dickens! I was am very happy with the new vacuum. I do like the handle on my older vacuum better, but this one will work fine. It does a good job of cleaning the carpet , I love the on board tools and the quick draw cord that is almost self winding.
