It also has a dust pad attachment for hard floors, and works great on low pile carpet. It does cycle through touching an object, backing out of a corner and turning right a quarter turn and continuing, circling in large areas, and edge cleaning. It will not replace your regular vacuum, but you'll not need to pull it out as often, and if you use an old toothbrush to clean the filter after use, it maintains good suction. Having had a Roomba, this is far quieter, but every bit as effective in my small place. Already have recommended to neighbors and friends, and am ordering a couple as gifts.

Even though it does not have GPS the algorithm was effective in covering about 85% of the floor surface. Used it in the kitchen that has food crumbs, dog fur, low mats in front of the sink and a carpet runner down and attached hall. This area also leads into an atrium with a low mat in front of a sliding door.

It ran the first time after a full 16 hr charge for about an hour but was only using the vacuum (no dust cloth). Ran it a second time a few days later with a wet Swifter attached (did not time it). Both times did not see any residue left on the floors. Taking off one star because we tried to use it on low pile wall to wall carpeting and it did a poor job. It needs a full underside brush for carpeting. Yes () No (1) Report Yes () No (1) Okay, okay, so we don't have time to vacuum daily, who does, we have a cat, not by choice, not my choice anyway, over ruled by girls in my own home, problem???? He's a short hair and sheds like a short hair cat should, why????? Anyway, I hate him which prompt me to buy this item, and for the price, you simply cannot beat it. I turn it on almost everyday when getting home, 75% of home is tile, four of the bedrooms stay closed (carpeted), so it is really serving its purpose. As I said before, turn it on when I get home and runs for a good hour, when it finally stops it will beat annoyingly, so you have to find it, pick it up and take it to the charger (this is why I gave it 4 stars), but let me tell you, as soon as you open the filter and trash bin

, you will be utterly surprised, it is doing its job!!!! All in All, worth it if you have tile and plan on running on tile only. Yes (6) No (0) Report Yes (6) No (0) Verified purchaser It is very easy to use and set up. It does need to be supervised as it will get stuck now and then. The great part is that if it does get stuck, it turns itself off Yes (1) No (0) Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser This is an inexpensive version of another robotic vacuum that I definitely could not afford, but for the money this one does a great job. It runs for about 75 minutes on a charge but that is enough to do my small house. I have laminate and tile throughout and 2 dogs and every time I use it, which is every other day, it is full of dog hair so it is doing a good job. No more dust and hair bunnies in the corners. I for one love it. Yes (9) No (0) Report Yes (9) No (0) I have owned 4 Roomba's over the last 6 years. So far I'm just as happy with my V Bot. If she lasts for longer than 2 1/2 years then I'll like her more :)

I'm planning on ordering another one for my Mom. Yes () No (5) Report Yes () No (5) I ordered the P3 V-Bot after researching higher end products because there just was no way I could afford $600 for a vacuum cleaner. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats and we constantly have to clean, clean, clean! Plus I needed to vacuum at the very least, every day or every other day. Okay, so my expectations for this little guy was not all high. So I received the package, opened the box and expected to have to spend hours on figuring out how to put it together. To my surprise it was not at all difficult. I tried to use it as soon as I got it but it died in about 10 minutes. Which I did not realize until I actually read that you are supposed to let it charge for about 12 to 16 hours. Okay, so I charged him for 24 hours (just in case) and tried to let it run but I kept stopping it to check the waste container every 15 minutes, which dissapointed me. So I finally decided to let him go until he ran out of power.

I am sooooo glad I did because it picked up so much! It does, it really does. Make sure and dump the little container after every use and check the "sweeper" thing if you have women with long hair. And all you have to do is just pull the hair off. I love it, love it, love it!! And his name now is "Robbie"!!! It works on carpet I am sure not as good as an upright but for the money I am happy so far with my purchase. Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) If you have kids, I beleive you should have this. Actually, I use it every single day, It made much difference. I don't have lots of carpet, only my kids' mat which is not shaggy at all, so It works great with me. I can't be more satisfied. In addition, I am really thankful for walmart for the fast shipping, the best customer service ever, and for the unbeatable price.
