Most prefer the dials on this one over the touch pad, and it's cheaper. I also learned that microwaving destroys more of the vitamins in your food far more than I ever thought so this is an added plus. Takes a little longer than the microwave but not much. The glass bowl is much better and healthier than the plastic in most products. I suggest buying different oven safe cups and bowls - we are big about heating up leftovers around here. Works great with larger items like whole chickens but the Japanese recipes are pretty lame, overcooked my first attempt. I just need to play with technique a little more and it should cook like a regular oven, just faster. Most people hear about the convienence and speed and don't know how much healthier thier food is cooked this way!

redstonetm ash vacuum cleanerIt came out SO juicy and tender - absolutely better than any I've cooked in my real oven.

miele vacuum cleaner s5781 reviewAnd being able to view the cooking through the glass bowl is great because it won't over-cook like it would in the oven. No pre-heating, either, the turbo oven sped up to 400 degrees right away.

I purchased this oven so I wouldn't have to use my gas oven (and to save money on using the gas oven) and I'm definitely not disappointed. I will be using this turbo oven probably about 5 nights a week from now on. It's wonderful and I definitely recommend it! The only drawback I see is it comes with two wire racks (one low, one raised) but no baking pans. I will be shopping for small baking pans tomorrow, just hope I can find some that will be small enough to fit in the oven. Could be a challenge. My previous one had electronic controls, which (possibly due to the heat) failed. This one has good old fashioned mechanical knobs, and have worked well. The glass bowl is durable and easy to clean; does not change colors or crack like brand NW with plastic. Heating element is still going strong. I don't think these usually burn out, as I had a NW for, like five years, and it did well.

My other one lasted about 1 yr and I hope this one will be more durable. When my other one died I just had to replace it because I love the way these things cook. This Sunpentown 2009 doesn't take up too much counter space and doesn't heat up the house or cost much to use compared to the range oven. Also, like the way it cooks meat, fish and veggies turned out fine too. I'm still experimenting with time and recipes. But I really like it. It's a great appliance to have. The glass bowl does get hot, so be careful to keep children away. The glass bowl cleans easily - just soak awhile and everything comes off.

There is a safety cut off when the handle is upright. Just make sure the handle is fully flat and clicks into the little hole or the oven will not operate. Yes () No (0) Report Yes () No (0) I needed a turbo oven that would reach temps of 500 F. The info and pictures show that this model does. Unfortunately the model I received only goes up to 480. Returned no problem, but the oven is not as described here. Yes (3) No (0) Report Yes (3) No (0) I have had many of ovens love them . Better then the big $ ones . I keep on my counter ,because I use every day. the best way to reheat pizza , always cook dinner hamburgs or hot dog on top beans fries or veg on bottom . been using for over 10 years .. little ,fast ,easy clean up . Yes (7) No (1) Report Yes (7) No (1) This is a wonderful little counter-top oven. The convection air circulation allows you to cook anything much faster than a regular oven. I would estimate most dishes cook in 1/3 less time. Here's the BEST trick: cut a chicken into portion size pieces
