The lack of a direct connect wand and electric hose prevents the Capri from being upgraded to accommodate one of Miele's electric power brushes. Since the Capri uses a turbo brush as the carpet tool, it is not the best vacuum choice for someone who has wall to wall carpeting or medium to high pile rugs. The turbo brush is powered by air flow and does not provide the deep cleaning and brush roll agitation of an electric power brush. If your cleaning needs require a power brush but you need a budget price, we suggest the S2121 Delphi or S2181 Titan. The S2’s are not a certified sealed system like the S4 and S5 series. Integrated PVC bumper guards are not included on the Capri, so be careful as you zoom around corners and furniture. The Capri does not have integrated accessory tool storage. The tools are kept on the wand with a clip-on tool caddy which we found to occasionally get in the way and the tools are more likely to fall off and get lost then when they are kept under the hood. Miele's crevice tool is not as long as we would have liked. It only offers a 4" reach where some competitors offer a full size 8" crevice tool. Miele's dusting brush has the industry standard round design which we have found clogs easily when used on high suction because the bristles are sucked inwards. A triangular dusting brush proves to be a more efficient design because it does not become clogged by its bristles. The Capri is Miele’s budget friendly canister vacuum packaged with a turbo brush and smooth floor brush.
