Actually came across this stand at another site at which it got some good reviews & looked beautiful.

I did a Google search for the product & to my BIG surprise, it was available here at Walmart!!! Elsewhere they were selling for $184 (and that was a great price for this stand) & as high as $289!!! Just $149 at Walmart with free FedEx Ground shipping to my house. The shipping was great since the box is huge (remember, this is a 65" stand) & weighed just over a hundred pounds. I ordered it 1/17/14 & It arrived via FedEx Ground on 1/24/14 at my house at 11:34am. I had it unpacked & assembled by 12:40pm!!! My ONLY complaint, man there was styrofoam pieces everywhere!!!! That's ok, since the stand was well packed & protected. No damage or scratches to the stand or any of the glass pieces. The black glass is gorgeous. This is a great stand that I would highly recommend based on looks, value, & styling. A steal at $149!!! I would buy it again without hesitation!!!! Both units were shipped to my local Walmart store for pickup, and I had Customer Service open the boxes for inspection at the counter.

The first unit had a broken corner on the main, thickest piece of glass. It was rejected and another was reordered. The second unit had 5-6 BIG and DEEP corner scratches on the thickest piece of glass. It was also rejected. I am now exploring other non-glass media stand options. The Innovex company clearly does not pack the "Oxford Black TV Stand for TVs up to 65" item well enough to survive shipping. Not sure if these stands are manufactured overseas, but the Innovex company is based in Pomona California, and I live in Arizona. That's not very far to ship an item. Nothing wrong with the purchase and text-notification process through Walmart, that worked very smoothly. i talked with Daniel on 9/26/13, and he told me he would call me back regarding paying for someone to take down the tv stand and then put it back together again. Daniel said he had to talk with the higher ups. I have called back and he is either on the phone or in a meeting. on the paper we received with the innovex tv stand, it states we will help you to repair/replace the defective parts at no cost to you. The parts that were shipped to me were not in alignment, so when they send the new parts to me, the stand will need to be taken apart and put back together. also the 60" tv will have to be taken off the stand and then put back on when the stand is rebulit. Just wish it would cover the cords better somehow. As I said, very heavy so I put carpet slides under each leg to move it around with the TV. The price is great - half of what I've seen this stand in other stores and online for.

My major problem was the delivery. The box was left outside in the rain without protection and it looked like it had fallen off the back of the truck and slid down the freeway. After I opened the box, I found scratches on the top shelf, one of the legs and both of the back panels were bent. I think the scratches were from the factory but the bent panels were from dropping the box. I didn't notice any water damage. It was easy to put together, but the back panels should be put on after all of the equipment has been placed and all cables have been run. This stand is large enough to hold 8 stereo and TV components, though we did put furniture sliders under the legs due to the weight, for ease of movement. The low profile is exactly as needed and leaves room on the wall above the TV for artwork. Waiting to purchase until after Christmas also gave some extra savings.
