Review this business:Click to Rate08/15/2016My husband used to work for Hyla in Conway and worked for Jim Slagle. Hyla is not a scam and the Owner is very honest with his customers, if he said he would do something he did it. For everyone that is bashing Hyla Systems of Conway you have no idea what your talking about. If you had a bad experience it isn't Jim Slagle's fault, maybe it's the salespersons problem and maybe they didn't tell you the truth or wasn't being honest with you. So don't blame the owner blame the salesperson.ShareFlag10/07/2014For all of you below that may still carry parts, I need a canister. Please email me if you have anything. Tammy.tichenor@ohio.kyschools.usShareFlag09/27/2014Just purchased a Hyla. Here's the deal, the tricks and gimmicks used to market the product are in place to wow you. The sales persons are low paid and prayed on for their contacts. Once you run out of contacts, your days in sales are numbered. So the sales people are normally new and not very knowledgeable of the product, they only know the tricks to get them started.

Like with anything, they stay at it long enough, they will learn and can choose for themselves to use the tricks or sell the product based on its own merit. I don't blame the young salesmen, its those who are training and leading that are the problem. I've owned a rainbow and have seen demos for the Kirby as well, the tricks are the same for each vendor. Now here is where the rubber meets the road.
wertheim sabre vacuum cleanerDoes the product, a high priced vacuum, really work?
numatic henry hvr200 autosave cylinder vacuum cleaner argosYes, does it do everything the salesman stated it would, no.
vacuum cleaner belt 83797But does it do everything the manufacture claim, yes. How well does it work in that fashion, my family is about to find out.

I'm sorry I didn't rate the sales demo that high just due to all the poor things this kid was taught, but I trust he left here a bit stronger and wiser, and rewarded for the system we purchased,ShareFlag06/23/2014i used to work for hylaThey dont care about their customers lol. The trick to showing you the clean VS dirty water is shine the flash light on top is its clean shine the flash light on the side its dirty. Even with or without side or top its still dirty. Horrible pay for the amount of effort. Dont buy dont work there.ShareFlag08/04/2013The best in the worldI've been a dealer for 2 1/2 yrs some dealers come and go. The hyla sells it's self! It's about customer service and being excessable to people all the time. The hyla GST has no competition not to mention I can simply put water in no fragrance and it smells like pure rain. Not like other water machines with internal filters the hyla is just water. Even tho I've had it this long, it's smells works and acts like it did the day I bought it.

IF U WANT A CLEAN HOME AND CLEAN AIR TO BREATH, TREAT YOUR SELF TO THE HYLA AIR And ROOM PURIFICATION SYSTEM. After all no one can put a price tag on YOUR HEALTH or YOUR FAMILY'S!!!ShareFlag01/01/2013As with a couple commenters h...As with a couple commenters here, I also received a cold-call, asking what I would feel later were bizarre questions (or so it seemed for a VACUUM) like if I was married, what model my vehicle was, & if I owned or rented. Do only married people vacuum? How does the year my truck was built relate to a vacuum? Do renters not vacuum their carpets? These questions, among others, started immediately, BEFORE the caller even hinted at what they were representing. Finally catching a break in the sales-pitch, or whatever the question-session was, I asked what's this about? The stuttered answer went something like, "It's a Hyla, a filter that you put water in." Still nothing about a vacuum cleaner. My house is new, tight, with state-of-the-air heat/air systems, not yet needing additional filtering.

(It's owned by the way, not rented, whyever that matters) My wife likes her Dyson, & I would too if single, whyever that matters. Her Suburban is a 2011, my GMC4X4 is a 2008, & I also own a classic 1987 Corvette, whyever that matters. In none of them can I figure out how to use an AC-powered device while traveling 65MPH down the road. (95MPH for the Vette) So here's where I said politely, & "I'm not interested." & hung up. Then I searched up Hyla on Google to find out what it REALLY was ... AAH, not just a "filter that you put water in." but a vacuum also, kinda like the Rainbow which sits in our back-most closet. Still don't need it. As said above, wife likes Dyson. But HERE'S why they get a "1-Star" lowest rating. 3 minutes after the "I'm not interested", while still researching on Google, guess who pops up on the Caller ID? Yep, same gal-salesman, or whatever she was. THIS time she simply got no answer at all. Back-To-Back calls from a person who was JUST informed that I wasn't interested kinda raises the "Scam-Flag" for me, for some reason.

Even if that's incorrect, that's still a very unprofessional modus operandi, enough for me to post this 1-Star Warning comment story here.ShareFlag05/26/2012I received a cold call dor-doo...I received a cold call dor-door visit with a sales rep from hyia of Conway. He took down some information and informed me if I would win a prize, they would be in contact with me. A few days later i received a "congratulations" call from the sales office notifying me I had won my choice of prizes. Since it was poor timing to talk, i asked if they would call back later.. They have called back like clockwork every day since. To look upo their phone # on reverse lookup (cost $2.00) and doing a cross check on the reviews. it was money well spent... Thank you for your reviews. I will address them when they call again,ShareFlag12/09/2011Horrible experience with the c...Horrible experience with the company that sells these machines! Lies to the customers and lies to the employees! One person I know worked for 2 1/2 weeks and didn't get paid a dime!

Please boycott the machine!ShareFlag06/28/2011Rrun, run, run away as fast as...Rrun, run, run away as fast as you can. I am very unhappy with my Hyla and there seems to be no recourse. If you buy a product at the store and you do not like it, you can return it - not so with Hyla. $2400.00 dollars for a product that leaks and difficult to use. Hyla just gave a very BAD name to selling in homes rather than purchasing a product in a store. I will never ever purchase another product in home sales. The more I use my Hyla the more I hate it.ShareFlag04/04/2008hyla sucksI just purchased a Hyla Vacuum from a local dealer. I was told it had been used only twice before in his demonstrations. However, after taking it apart it was clear to me it had been used for over a year. Now they conviently won't answer their phone. Today I am returning it to the dealer if I can ever reach them. Several messages left for the dealer have not been returned. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! They said it was only 2300 dollars, but after a payment arrangement, it will of cost 3000.00 all together.
