miele - s5211 vacuum cleaner capri blueI was looking for light weight as I have a lot of pain in my hands and elbow, I needed a cleaner that would work well on shag rugs and hard floors and this is perfect for both.
miele s224 vacuum cleaner

I didn't realise my rugs had so much dirt in them obviously my last cleaner wasn't doing its job, I replaced it because it was heavy. My only concern is that the lead does not retract and it has to be wound around the back, it has a nice long lead making it easy to clean the whole room (I have a large open plan living area) but it is hard to wind as the levers aren't quite big enough, but other than that it works great, was easy to put together and is quieter than my old one. I would have given it five stars other than the non retractable lead, other than that its great and I would recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a value cleaner that's light and does multi tasks. Talking of multi tasks I haven' t used it yet to clean around the top of the room maybe when the Christmas decorations come down. Yes () No (3) Report Yes () No (3) Small but packs a punch when compared to other vacuums in its weight class. I used this to vacuum the ceiling, and it easily sucked up the cobwebs and dust that was lingering around.

The reach of this vacuum is magnificent since you can detach the handle and extend the nozzle. One thing that I found cumbersome was the fact that you had to detach the hose to transition it to "tool mode". Besides that, the vacuum performed well moving from carpet to hardwood with a simple touch of a button. The maneuverability of this vacuum is also a plus since it allows you to get into tight spaces without having to move the larger pieces of furniture like a dresser or TV stand. Due to it's small size, this vacuum's dust chamber would have to be emptied quite frequently, but since it's easy to do so it's not a huge problem. For a person with an apartment that does not have pets, this is a great vacuum. The suction power is good and its compact design makes it easy to store. Light enough to move up and down the stairs freely is also a plus for anyone that hates lugging a heavy machine around. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () I had a Bissell Home Health. big, bulky and hubby used it as a shop vac.

It was 7 years old and broke. After reading the reviews on this Hoover Air Lite, and much research, I went to TWO Wal-marts to find it in stock, bought it last week and brought it home. My 1st session with it was good. But I had to clean it completely after done, so about 10 minutes of pulling the bagless parts out and cleaning and cleaning the brusher bar. My 2nd session, the same, now the wheels are making noises. My 3rd session, I was vacuuming and the clip bar where the hose is attached breaks. I simply replaced the hose into the clip turned and heard a snap. For the money, it is cheaply constructed. My POSITIVE points are it does pick up alot, it shifts from hardwood to carpet VERY easily. It is VERY lightweight and easy to manuver. But I still feel it is a little on the 'cheap' side for 130.00 bucks. Yes () No (6) Report Yes () No (6) This has been cleaning great! With allergies I like that it creates less dust than our Kirby. The brush roller jammed though and was disheartened when after I followed the manual’s instruction, cleared it and it would not start rolling again.

I had tilted the vacuum back and pushed the roller button dozens of times. I read Hoover’s response to RBLT 1-star review…it said make sure to tilt the vacuum “all the way back”. I tilted it to the floor, pushed the button and the rollers started going...yeah! I purchased the Hoover Air Lite two weeks ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed vacuuming with it. It is very easy to move up and down stairs. I love being able to see the dirt being sucked into the chamber. The waste chamber is very easy to empty. I also love the design of the hose attachment. It is very slick how it has two attachments in one accessory. The hose does work extremely effectively. The option to have the brush on or off seems to be a helpful feature although I have only used it with the brush being in the on position. The able ability to maneuver the vacuum is also a valuable feature. I have not used a Dyson but this seems like it maneuvers very similarly. The hose is a bit heavy so I can imagine this might be a disadvantage if it were used for long periods of time in locations above the shoulder.

I spent thirty minutes cleaning wooden blinds and my shoulders were a bit fatigued afterwards. The waste chamber can also be a bit tricky to click back into place. After vacuuming I found a lot of hair that had been wrapped around the brush. This definitely shows me how ppor my previous vacuum cleaner was working. It was a bit tedious to remove the hair but the brush unit was very easy to remove and replace after cleaning. Overall, I am very pleased and for $70 this vaccum is a great bargain. Purchased in August 2016, the wand handle is not made of sturdy plastic. It is bending under my grasp. I know that you are in business to make money but why make an inferior product. I have always purchased Hoovers in the past but this one is so below the quality of the previous ones. Will keep you informed. The handle on your Air Lite Compact should stand the test of time. Please keep in mind this model carries a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you’re having issues, we recommend bringing your Hoover in to the nearest authorized repair center for service.

Let us know if you still need us! As soon as you turn the roller on ... It moves so fast and sucks up EVERYTHING! I highly reccomend this product. I have been using Hoover nano's for years & when I couldn't get a replacement for the last one I researched & chose this. The only thing I would change is I wish the canister was designed like the nano cyclonic instead of imitating dyson's canister. The cyclonic design didn't trap things at the top making it easier to clean out. But I must say this is an awesome vacuum & I would recommend it to anyone i HAVE OWNED HOOVER VACUMS FOR OVER FORTY YEARS AND HAVE RECEIVED SATISFACTORY RESULTS. hOWEVER THIS NEW MODE I PURCHASE HAS A PROBLEM WITH LINT COLLECTING BEHIND THE BRUSH AT THE POINT WHERE THE BELT HOUSING IS LOCATED. VERY HARD TO REMOVE PACKED LINT. IT HAS TO BE BLOWN OUT USING MY LEAF BLOWERIf debris is collecting behind the brush of your Air™ Lite Compact Multi-Cyclonic Upright this can indicate a blockage in the upper hose or filter.
