I go from one to the other with no adjustments necessary. To move the vacuum when you're not actually vacuuming, it rolls effortlessly on the 2 back rollers. The lift away is also a wonderful feature with the added floor sweeper/duster on the low floors or on the carpeted stairs with rug attachment. The dust collector empties easily with the bottom drop canister. I was an ardent bag user because I hated reaching in and pulling the hair & dust off like on the other styles of bagless, but this one makes it so easy.

So far we love it. It leaves the carpet very clean (you can actually see how clean it is). My hair is long and always falling; the Lift & Go sucks up 95% of the hair. We have yet to clean the roller and it still picks up all the dust, lint, hair, etc.

Seeing how much dirt this vacuum picks up after every use is shocking (we vacuum every day). Everything about this vacuum is great ... from it being very light weight, which is great for cleaning stairs, corners, and areas where the vacuum wouldn't fit; lots of attachments are right there to grab when needed, to its easy to clean filter. The hose is very flexible and the brush/wand tool makes it easy for cleaning window sills, ceiling fans, spider webs from the walls, corners of the floors, under furniture, etc. The one negative I have is that because it is so light weight when you are using the attachments and hose, it tips over. I definitely recommend the Lift & Go.this vac was surprisingly lightweight. it did a fine job on the carpet. i also used the nozzle attachments for those hard to reach places. the cord is also super long so i was able to vac two rooms without unplugging. The floor dusting attachment is amazing! The only reason why I did not give it a 5 star rating is becase vaccuming a large carpet area just takes way to long. It takes to long because the vaccum area is too small and I like to get vaccuming done quickly. So after a disappointing experience with a Bissell Boss, I decided to try the Dirt Devil lift and go after paying way too much for these so called premium brands I heard a friend talking about this model with the hard surface floor vacuuming and dusting attachment which did pick up all the dirt in the kitchen /foyer etc. it worked great on medium carpeting as well. I just wish the cord had an automatic retractor. I give it 4.5 stars for the performance price ability to empty the dust cup as well as not having to replace expensive filters etc. every few months.

My 1 year old kid was very naughty and she will pick small small things from the floor and tries to put it in mouth. With this vaccum it is easy for us to clean every corner of house and it is not that heavy to carry as well.
