Does the job well. Battery lasts a long time. Perfect for quickly vacuuming up my two bedroom condo. I needed a cordless stick vacuum to do my daily quick cleaning and this one does the trick! It sucks up the pet hair (4 cats, 2 large dogs) remarkably well on both carpet and... Very pleased with this Stick Vacuum. I have a built in vac that my cleaning lady uses weekly but for daily clean-ups it is a pain to drag everything out. It worked great for 4 uses then inexplicably died when I was in the middle of cleaning and never restarted. Hoover customer service was not helpful at all. Very handy for a quick clean, works well on my laminate to pick up tons of dog hair! Only thing is that it has to be emptied often but that's no big deal. Happy with this stick vacuum cleaner. Battery seems to work well and the unit has a lot of good auction. I have five animals in the house. While it picks the hair up, quite a bit of it catches on the bottom in different spots like the sides and the rollers and the wheels.
