No problem with refund. I love this steamer, especially the attached small steamer for bedding, countertops etc. Does a great job, heats up very very quickly and is lightweight. This product last just a tad longer than its warranty! Nice design but starts to malfunction after 1 year even with careful follow the direction use.

I would Not recommend it!Makes the floors nice and clean an the handheld part is great for tile grout. We are having fun with it :) Very frustrated with Haan. I have tried numerous times to try and purchase a replacement part. I have received no response to repeated voicemails and emails trying to buy a simple... Very happy with it. The house is clean and fresh. Use it on the mattress, and the mattress gets clean. Very easy to use and store away. My review is about Haam steamer I got from Costco a few years ago, not about this specific model of Haam steamer. I loved it when I first got it but it died after 4 uses. I notified Haan, but that has been a nightmare. After 6 months they sent me a replacement which was refurbished. Not as great as my last Haan. It has to be set against somethings or it will fall can't just sit up straight on its own. barely steams, large head hard to maneuver. Had a different brand that I really liked but it broke. Read good reviews so I thought I would give one of these a try.

Our new home is about 75% tile and we have a puppy who, at the time, wasn't yet housebroken... I was mopping with the mop & bucket at least once a day and it was getting old. Fast.Enter the HAAN SI-40 Swivel Head Floor Steamer. I still mopped daily, but the task was so much easier and healthier for my puppy than the old mop and bucket. And, IMO, the floors look and feel cleaner. Since you're only mopping with water, the floors no longer have that sticky film left behind from detergents and there are no streaks.A lot of people on here say it doesn't get out stuck-on grime, but I disagree. You may have to go over it two or three times (just like you would with a regular mop?!), but it does come up. If it doesn't, I seriously have to wonder what exactly is on the floor and how long it's been there. We've waited up to a week to clean spaghetti sauce off of our tile, and it came up with no problems.

Of course, you'll need to clean up most of the large messes right away (like, ahem, if a puppy pees on the floor, you'd wipe most of it up with a paper towel first), but you'd do that anyway, right?I also like that it has the on/off button and that it hangs flat in the closet. The only flaw...and really, it's not a flaw, more of a preference...is that all the accessories don't fit together or anything. I have them all in a bag that hangs on the same hook as the steam mop, but it is annoying when it falls and everything comes tumbling out.
