Better Options Out There for price I've had the T8 for over 3 years. It's a great size and featured unit, unfortunately, I can not recommend it. PROS: not heavy, comes with all attachments, easy operation, great size for small condos/apartments, washable filters, not too loud (unless you have a turbo attachment connected).

CONS: Electrolux service is almost non-existent. Parts are available, however, you need to do some research to find them. Requires too many modifications to get proper suction power out of the unit. A vacuum cleaner should provide proper suction out of the box. Improper air seal at all canister ports. There are too many air leaks due to too many loose parts. Vacuum will clog at the intake between the canister and the intake rectangle port. This is a very bad design. A round pipe design and more direct intake would eliminate this. It seems over-engineered in all the wrong way. I had to cut the intake grill under the filter to get proper suction. I had to cut out gasket to properly seal all intake/exhaust ports. VERDICT: there are better options at this price point. This vacuum is easy to manoeuver and store. It has several good accessories included. Unfortunately those are the only good things I can say. It gets very hot to the touch very quickly and make strange noises at times.
