Has great suction and keeps the fine dust in when cleaning the pellet stove. Bought this through Amazon warehouse and it works great. Just used it for the first time and does what it's supposed to do. We got this for our wood burning fireplace, this is NOT meant for that. The unit looses suction from ashes within seconds, the inner filter protector is caked, when you...it's a must have for any fireplace, wood stove or pellet stove. I no longer have to get my hands dirty while cleaning these things. Hold down clamps were a little bent and had to do a little bending to fix but other than that a fine product. How hard can it be to suck up the ash from a wood stove? This does the job, but it is noisy and the hose parts separate dumping ash on the carpet.
